Graduates Meeting!

We invite All graduates and friends of our ministry to the XVI Graduates meeting In Łękinia from 5 to 8 July 2012. The main speakers are Berni and Cathy Gillot from U.S., who have been associated with TC Ministry for 35 years. They led one of the center for many years, providing training of employees, develop ministry of music which recorded over 20 albums and CDs. Now they are the main coordinators of the TC’s global missionary work. They evangelize in the mass media, schools, colleges but the special place of their work is the street. On the streets around the globe they work with drug users and excluded people. They are parents of four children and they know the challenges of contemporary families very well, especially families involved in ministry. We hope we are able to use their experience.

2012 ETC Conference - Bellaria, Rimini, Italy

Greetings! We are excited to announce the 2012 ETC Conference in Bellaria, Rimini, Italy from April 19-22. The conference will begin on the evening of April 19 with dinner and an opening service, and will end after lunch on Sunday, April 22. LOCATION: Hotel Bridge in Bellaria (Rimini), Italy will be the central hotel and where you must check in. Our art competition is announced!

At the Fifteenth Graduates Meeting jury decided to award the work "Because I believe" by Lidia Niemczyk (see the photo). All works were shown at the exhibition. The awarded works will be used for our advertising. Thanks all participating artists.

We organize an art competition connected with free addicted life. The title is "I have a faith so I don't take".Prizes available. Your work should be connected with positive view of life which is created by Jesus Christ. Details for participants are available on our polish web site.Our final decision will be made during the Graduate's Meeting on 29-31 July 2011. We are going to display the most interesting works in all our branches and Coffee Houses around the country. --

European Conference of Teen Challenge

The next European Conference of TC from 14 to 17 April 2011 will be organized by TC Poland. At the website http://www.primaveraspa.pl/ you have the opportunity to check the accomodation. It's the top location at the Baltic Sea, about 70 km from the Airport Gdańsk Rębiechowo.We will provide shuttle bus service.You can download the e-application soon.We're glad to meet you next year.

Coffee House Conference

On 1-3 October 2010 we met again on our annual Coffee House conference. There were about 80 participants. The leader was Coffee House coordinator Ryszard Paciocha from Koszalin. Our motto came from the Letter of Epheser 1:18 "You know, what is the hope." The hope in Jesus was our focus, not only on the conference. This is the foundation of the work with the addicts.

We shared our experiences, we discussed, prayed and provided the workshops. Having beautiful weather, we visited Czocha Castle. It's for sale!

Pomeranian's Anti Addictions Council

 On the 6th of October in our headquarter in Miastko met the member of Pomeranian's Anti Addiction Council. The leader of Teen Challenge Zbigniew Urbaniak belong to the Council from 2008. All members are practicing therapists who work with the addicts and  know the problems of addictions and prevention. The Board should to occur of legislative initiatives, to consult the Pomeranian's Government and to form the public opinion.

During the meeting the member of the Board had an opportunity to visit our resort in Łękinia. They were surprised by the high standards of cleanliness and hygiene in the center.

We are glad that our therapeutics work is admired in the professional circle.

Re-entry in Białogard has a new building

The re-entry in Białogard has worked very effective during the last sixteen years. Many graduates  from the centers in Broczyna and Łękinia found a job, flat, new friends or family. The time goes on and the place is too tight for so many persons. We were able to buy a large building. Now, we can expand our activity also for the town citizens, for example for the workshops, Coffee House and a meeting place for the children. The building must be renovated. Some of the work we have already done with the help of volunteers and with financial support from christian communities in Warsaw. We are very grateful. We invite you to visit the gallery.

A new Teen Challenge House in Winiarczykówka

On the 2th of August we got the keys to the building of the former border guards in Winiarczykówka. The is a top location, at the Polish-Slovak Tatra mountains. This is a new building but it must be adopt to our goals. We want to help in three ways:
aid for the homeless( in this part of Poland we have oft floods);
home for our old graduates;
help for our patients, they have to wait for a free places in the centers in Broczyna and Łękinia.

The leader of this house is therapeutic Janusz Górnicki.
      

Canteen in Łękinia

Our canteen in Łękinia needs to be extended. At the time 80 patients use the canteen but the dining room is just for 40 people.
Meals must be served in two rounds and this isn't the best solution. We are planning the rebuilt this place and make it more spacious. The technical documentation is already done. We have all the necessary approval and permits. We collect the money!

"PETRA"

The new headquarters of the Mission Teen Challenge in Miastko is rebuild. After the all building activity we plan to join the program "PETRA". It's an acronym formed from the initials of: prevention, education, therapy, rehabilitation, adaptation. This program is very broad and primary for socially excluded people in the neighborhood. We will have rooms for the unemployed's training, children's club, daily therapy for addicts and a flats for homeless.

New Chance Day

 The Coffee House in Wrocław invites to the third edition of New Chance Day on 4th December 2010. This?s a projekt for addicts and homeless people. They will get the news about hope and love, about the opportunity how to change their life.

The daily schedule includes lectures, testimonies, songs, concert,  free meals, coffee and tea.
